Discovering a Niche
Navigating the intersection between purpose and niche is a big part of finding one’s voice while establishing a brand. Often, this happens organically through working with clients, receiving referrals and establishing a community. Once you are able to identify a specialized focus area that your business serves, you have found your niche.
A journey of self-discovery
Finding solopreneurship as a graphic designer developed over time. When I started as a small business owner, I wasn’t familiar with the term solopreneur. While I knew I was a self-starter who thrived solo, the terms entrepreneur or freelancer were more common.
The solopreneur is the niche
Over time, my client roster has expanded to include professionals from health and wellness to fashion and beauty, engineering, food and beverage, business and consulting. While that may sound like a broad niche, it isn’t because my niche isn’t a profession but the professional herself.
Branding a dream
One’s niche can be found at the intersection of one's passion, skills and clients' needs. For me, this crossroad lies where an independent professional starts their venture and is ready to explore creative services.
Bringing a vision to life
The Branding Package culminates my work developing branding for many solopreneurs, entrepreneurs and small business owners. Over the years I have developed a package that covers brand development and visual identity, leaving the client ready to launch their brand with a custom file package and brand application guide.
A customized scope of work
Offering add on’s in print and web design, including illustration, character development, products and packaging, workbooks and page layout, and social media and event promotion, ensures each client is ready to launch uniquely.
