Discovering a Niche
“My niche has naturally evolved to focus on the health and wellness industry” - Megan Rose, Graphic Designer
Navigating the intersection between purpose and niche is a big part of finding one’s voice while establishing a brand. Often, this happens organically through working with clients, receiving referrals and establishing a community. Once you are able to identify a specialized focus area that your business serves, you have found your niche.
A journey of self-discovery
Finding solopreneurship as a graphic designer developed over time. When I started as a small business owner, I wasn’t familiar with the term solopreneur. While I knew I was a self-starter who thrived solo, the terms entrepreneur or freelancer were more common.
Finding the wellness industry
Over time, my niche has naturally evolved to focus on the health and wellness industry. I specialize in supporting solopreneurs: yoga teachers, counsellors, psychotherapists, coaches, and holistic practitioners, who are building meaningful businesses.
Branding a dream
One’s niche can be found at the intersection of one's passion, skills and clients' needs. For me, this crossroad lies where an independent professional starts their venture and is ready to explore creative services.
